Sponsorship Benefits at NPCA's Bird Park Summer Concerts

Dear North Park Neighbor: The North Park Community Association (NPCA) has begun planning for the 2011 Bird Park Summer Concert Series. This annual series of FREE Concerts is a unique opportunity for North Park residents and merchants to come together to support this highly attended Summer Event. Over 800 people show up to listen to the music of local talent, dance with their children, enjoy visiting with neighbors, host picnics, and admire the beautiful park setting. These are very special evenings. Here comes the hard part ... having to ask for your financial support knowing that we are still in a very tough economy. That is the only way that this Series can happen. The costs of bands, sound equipment, portable bathroom facilities, and Park/City permits continue to rise. All Concert donations and Membership dues are TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Throughout the year, your donations and volunteer efforts help to remove trash and graffiti from the streets, as well to support community advocacy and an ongoing initiative to maintain and enhance the quality of life across North Park.

These Summer Concerts are a happy reflection of life in North Park. They offer residents the opportunity to come together as a real "neighborhood" and enjoy the vitality of their community.
