North Park Clean & Safe Program Update
On Tuesday, May 24th the San Diego City Council authorized the ballot mailing process to begin for a proposed Clean & Safe Maintenance Overlay District in central North Park. Almost 2,500 commercial & residential property owners in the North Park community will receive a ballot. The ballot phase will last for 45 days.
Ballots will ask property owners to consider an increased annual assessment in return for enhanced maintenance services near their property. Increased services will include tree trimming, street light installation, security patrols, and other services. The Clean & Safe Overlay will enable NPMS to improve the commercial corridors and adjacent residential areas that are so important to your quality of life.
