Jazz & Gospel Revue at First Pres’– August 18, 2012
A cadre of San
Diego’s finest jazz musicians will be gathering on Saturday, August 18
for an evening of magnificent music. The concert is free, just bring your ears.
A wide spectrum of
talent will perform: Archie
Thompson & The Archtones with Whitney Shay, Gilbert Castellanos’
Hammond B3 Trio, and The Holly
Hoffman/Mike Wofford Quartet. Get ready for a
joyous celebration of uniquely American music.
There will even be
free refreshments! So, come August 18, make your way to the
courtyard of First Presbyterian Church at 320 Date Street (corner of
Fourth and Date). The doors open at 4:30 PM and the fun gets started at 5:00
PM.
