Greetings!
2014
marks the 50th Anniversary of the 1964 Civil Rights
Act. In commemoration of this historical legislation,
The Catfish Club in conjunction with the San Diego African American
Museum of Fine Art (SDAAMFA), will host a
discussion on Civil Rights in San Diego. Harold Brown,
founder of the San Diego Civil Rights Museum will
lead the discussion. Your attendance will
also provide you an
opportunity to enjoy the civil rights photo
exhibition entitled "In Our Lifetime..." which
was installed by the SDAAMFA. The guest curator is Rev. George
Walker Smith, founder of the Catfish Club.

note: This meeting will be held on the campus of Bayview Baptist Church,
in the M.L.King, Jr. Center, 6134 Benson Avenue, San Diego 92114.
