New Children's Center Gets Unanimous Approval by City Council On behalf of San Diego Rescue Mission I am pleased to announce that on Tuesday June 17, the City Council approved the amendment to our Conditional Use Permit by a unanimous vote! This means our NEW Children’s Center is one major step closer to becoming a reality. Within the next couple weeks, licensing will be on site for their final approval and we will look to open this necessary program for those toddlers in need. You can support the completion of our Children's Center by attending our Art of Gratitude Fundraiser on Tuesday, June 24 at the David Alan Collection in Solana Beach. There will be a silent auction along with incredible appetizers by David Malarkey of Searsucker Del Mar, Casa Guadalajara, and The Fish Market among others. Please join us for this special event!
