Save a St. Luke’s Member from
Deportation
There is a high likelihood that Constantin, whose wife and seven children attend St.
Luke’s, will be deported this Friday from Dulles airport outside
Washington, DC. If he returns to his home country, the Democratic
Republic of the Congo, he fears he will be murdered for his political
opposition to the ruling party.
Here's how you can stop his deportation:
- Join us for a press conference this
Thursday (Feb 28, TOMORROW) at noon at the Federal Building
downtown (880 Front Street).
-
Contact three San Diego congressmembers using the script
provided on this page.
-
Sign this petition to the director of ICE
asking to stop Constantin's deportation while
appeals can be reviewed in court.
-
Make a financial gift to help his family,
whose asylum cases are still under review.
Contacting the offices of our local congresspeople ensures Constantin’s situation stays high on their agendas.
They can demand that ICE exercise its wide discretion in
prioritizing deportations to delay Constantin's order while his case can be pursued in
court.
Please pray for Constantin and his family, and all those across
the country caring for them during this heartwrenching time.
God's peace and
justice,
Colin
