North Park Baptist Church is a landmark property in North Park. Most of us have driven by Bancroft and North Park Way many times. The whole block that NP Baptist sits on has been rehabilitated and now it looks as though The Light is going to shine forth brightly as North Park Baptist Church and Maker's Church explore the merging of congregations.

Good bye to North Park Baptist Church - since 1948 - at the corner of
Bancroft and North Park Way, a North Park landmark and prominent
christian church in this neighborhood. As of May 15th North Park Baptist
Church has officially changed name to Makers Church. We assume the new
church to be a baptistic congregation since both churches are/were
affiliated with American and Southern Baptist denominations.
