We live in trying times

Friends,

We live in trying times: the aftermath of the pandemic, economic uncertainty, unprecedented violence and mass shootings, war in Ukraine, and untold personal struggles in our daily lives.

Where would we be without our Catholic faith? The saving love of Jesus Christ is our source of hope in the face of all of these challenges. It is imperative that we share this hope with others, and that is why Word on Fire exists.

Since you are receiving this email, you are already aware of the breadth of content that Word on Fire produces—articles, videos, podcasts, books, and more. We receive countless stories from people whose lives have been changed by reading an article or listening to a podcast that prompted a reexamination of their spiritual life. Word on Fire is a bridge to draw people into, or back to, the Catholic faith.

But none of this would be possible without the support of our generous donors. So I’m encouraging you to please consider joining our IGNITE program—a group of loyal monthly donors who have made a commitment to support our mission of proclaiming Christ in the culture.

These donors give at various levels—from $10 to $100 per month—but their collective impact provides the backbone of support that we need to dream big as we boldly evangelize using old, new, and emerging media platforms. We have so many ideas for the future that I am excited to share with you.

If you join IGNITE, we will send you a package of tools and resources to enliven your own spiritual life and to help you share the Good News with those who need it most. Click here for full details and to become a member of IGNITE.

Thank you for your prayers and support of the Word on Fire ministry and team. Please know that we are praying for you as well. May God bless you!

In Christ,

Bishop Robert Barron
