Word on Fire in Iraq: Live Interview with the Archbishop of Erbil

St. Thomas brought Christianity to Chaldea nearly two thousand years ago. The Word on Fire Institute’s UK Program Director, Brenden Thompson, journeyed to Iraq to discover ways of deepening the bonds between the Church in Iraq, the UK, and beyond. Brenden joined Archbishop Bashar Warda of Erbil in a wide-ranging discussion hosted by Radio Miriam. Listen as Brenden uncovers the region’s rich history, current evangelization initiatives, and the experience of living alongside many sites of the Old Testament.   As we learn, let us pray for our persecuted Catholic brothers and sisters in this Middle East diocese.
