As I Leave for the Second Session of the Synod

During the second session of the Synod on Synodality, we seek to explore how we make our understanding of the Church concrete in terms of institutions and practices. There are a few themes in this year’s preparatory document, but what emerges with particular clarity is that the first and most important listening we undertake is not to one another but to the Holy Spirit.
