"Obama Church Controversy"
News Feature: "Obama Church Controversy" -- Democratic presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama is an active member of Trinity United Church of Christ on Chicagos South Side -- one of the largest and most prominent congregations in the United Church of Christ. The Senator has long spoken openly about his faith and says he's been deeply influenced not only by his church, but also by Trinity's senior pastor Jeremiah Wright, whose inspirational sermon gave rise to the title of Obamas book, "The Audacity of Hope." But now Sen. Obamas connection with Rev. Wright, who has been criticized for his outspoken opposition to the Iraq war, his support of Palestine and his Afrocentric theology, is generating political controversy. Kim Lawton reports on this recent political discourse and what impact its having on Sen. Obamas campaign for president.
